The member of United States House of Representatives Congressman Ted Poe accompanied by U.S Embassy and Office of Defense Cooperation delegates visited on Tuesday Hellenic Aerospace Industry’s (HAI) facilities in Tanagra.

Congressman Poe and his delegation met with the Chief Executive Officer Mr. Tasos Philippakos, the Chief Operating Officer Mr. Athanassios Chronopoulos and the company’s executives. The visit included a plant tour to HAI’s production facilities and a meeting with HAI’s management team. During the meeting, the delegation was informed about HAI’s capabilities, prospects, future plans, and ongoing projects with U.S companies from the Defence and Aerospace Sector.

Congressman Poe said that was very impressed with the technological capabilities and infrastructure that HAI has developed.

HAI’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Philippakos pointed out that:

“HAI during the recent years has established well-built business relations with the leading USA companies.  HAI’s strategic cooperation with the companies of defence and aerospace Industry of USA considerably contribute to the enhancement of HAI’s technological capability and into HAI’s continuing penetration in the international market. I believe that HAI and leading USA companies gained significant advantages by this strategic cooperation and these advantages will be further enhance in the future”.
