The U.S. Ambassador in Greece, Mr Charles Ries made an official visit to the facilities of Hellenic Aerospace Industry S.A. on Wednesday, April 27, 2005. The Ambassador was escorted by the U.S. Embassy Military Attache, Col. Thomas Tutt, the U.S. Air Force Program Director Mr Μ Michael Ellison, the U.S. Embassy Commercial Attache Mrs. Sally Hastings and the U.S. Embassy Chief Commercial Advisor, Mr Emilios Margaritis.

During the visit the company Management had the opportunity to brief the Ambassador and the U.S. Embassy delegation on HAI’s capabilities and key strategies.

Particular emphasis was placed on the company’s interest in undertaking the implementation of the USAFE F-16 aircraft upgrade program.

Mr Ries expressed his satisfaction for the capabilities of the company and underlined his intention to do anything possible in support of HAI efforts towards expanding its co-operation endeavors with U.S. companies in the field of defense and aerospace.
