HAI over the years has earned a reputation for high quality standards of its products and services. Under ultimum goal of "Total Customer Satisfaction" the company is constantly seeking quality excellence by implementing a quality system that provides the frame for all company activities.

Therefore, all operations are closely monitored by the Quality System, which is developed to comply with the latest International Standards and Government Air Regulations dealing with Quality System requirements.

Today HAI is in a new phase. Having fulfilled the requirements of the international standards organization (ISO 9001:2000), the company has focused to the principles of Total Quality Management.

Production already implements the Statistical Process Control (SPC) resulting in a significant reduction of defects.

Having the TQM as the main initiative HAI, through the continuous improvement process and customer satisfaction always in mind, aims to become a company with 6σ quality by the year 2003, that means to produce 3.4 defects per million opportunities.

The quality system has been established at the beginning of the 80's and has successfully covered up to now the four production activities functioning under the four Business Units of the company, i.e. Repair and Maintenance of Aircraft and accessories, Repair and Maintenance of Engines and accessories. Aerostructures Fabrication and Assembly, Manufacturing of Electronic Systems and Products, as well as purchases and supplies.

HAI's Quality System has been approved by the accredited organization BVQI for its conformity to the following standards:

• ISO 9001:2000
• ISO 9001:1994 & TickIT Guide
• EN/AS 9100 

In addition, has been inspected, verified and accepted by nearly every major manufacturer in the sector of the Aerospace Industries.

Moreover, HAI has been approved and certified by the HCAA (Hellenic Civil Aviation Authorities) as a repair center to provide services for Civil aircraft components and engines in compliance to JAR-145 requirements and by major engine manufacturers for the repair and overhaul of their engines, such as T53 by Honeywell Aerospace, T56 / 501D by Rolls-Royce and ATAR K-50 by Snecma Moteurs.

Furthermore, HAI has been approved and certified as a maintenance center for the aircraft C-130 by Lockheed Aeronautics, King Air by Raytheon and P-3 by the Hellenic Navy.
